Missteps faux pas and blunders
Fer me make no mistake
They’re a part of life ye can’t avoid
Both bad and good ye take
T’ain’t what the star ye wisht on
Had promised as it fell
Setbacks bills work and heartaches
It does feel rather more like hell
But ye plod along with hopes and dreams
That someday things will change
If that day should come en grab ye
Well wouldn’t that be strange
But don’t be too disappointed
That day aint likely ta appear
Fer ye’ve got ta make yer own luck
Er stay damned in hell I fear

Something going on with your account, Lydia? I received messages from you this morning. This one is from March!

Yes, I started getting alerts, pings, about four days ago, telling me something failed to upload. I couldn’t figure it out on my phone, so I pulled out and dusted off my laptop to try to figure it out. I tried changing a few things and all my posts vanished – 5 years of blogging. I’ve got most of it back, I think, not all, and I lost comments. That alert that started this all is still there.

OK this is strange. Only 2 of the posts were actually posts. The other 10 said ‘oops! that page cannot be found.’

The WordPress people offered to delete my account so I could start over. 😂
