Media outlets, including NBC News and The New York Times, have asked Judge Merchan to unseal the indictment ahead of Trump’s arraignment tomorrow, which is when details of the 34 charges against him will be made public. There has been no ruling on that yet.
Another request came from Trump’s newest lawyer, (Tacopeanuts?) asking the judge to abide by the New York state law that prohibits cameras in courtrooms. There is an exception when a judge gives express permission, citing the unprecedented level of public interest in the case. Like this case. Last week, Friday, 31 March, Al Bragg told the GOP to shut up. They have ignored that request, just like they ignore subpoenas from their colleagues in congress.
Gag orders are common in criminal cases. Especially true when there is a risk that someone may make statements that could incite violence, (HELLO) be viewed as threatening to prosecutors and witnesses, (mmm hmm) or taint the jury pool. Based on that, I believe the judge will issue Trump a gag order. Based on Trump’s repeated failure to heed every one of his lawyers’ requests over his lifetime, not to talk, he’s proven he cannot do it. Contempt of court charges will be added.

If he breaks the gag order what are they going to do? He poses a threat. The DA was his last target.

Okay, I just read that he was offered to have his arraignment processed via zoom and he declined it. This is theater for fund raising. What a jackass!
