“Don’t worry about it.” That is Donald Trumps advise to people who are…worried about it. Worried about what? His “tough phone calls” are what he was referring to, but the entire first two weeks of his reign have been something to worry about. His foreign policy seems to be centered around destroying alliances.
- Trump told Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto that he might send U.S. troops to deal with “bad hombres down there” if the Mexican military doesn’t.
- He yelled at Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull during a phone call straining that alliance.
- China is pissed off because of Trump’s support of Taiwan.
- There are the seven countries he has banned entry: Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen and Iran
- —whom he has “put on notice”,
- Germany’s foreign minister has said Trump is a “threat” after Trump made the comment “you look at the European Union, and it’s Germany — basically a vehicle for Germany.”
- He has alienated countries in the trans pacific partnership: Japan, Canada, Brunei, Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam (and Mexico and Australia again).
- And finally, the Ukraine recognizes Trump’s bromance with Putin for what it is…a pass for Russia’s annexation of Crimea.
Russia is the only country Trump hasn’t set out to alienate from the US. He say’s “Don’t worry about it.”
