To follow up with a prompt I resisted
Today my quest for humor consisted
Of me with my child, whom I assisted
By driving and supporting— but what’s twisted
A day without laughter never existed
Until this one— and this lack has persisted
Perhaps a medical condition preexisted
Performance anxiety for humor subsisted
With regards to my wit I’ve become tightfisted
If only Viagra for humor existed…
