I Remember When:

Ordering a cup of coffee wasn’t stressful…”One coffee please”

The sight of someone talking to themselves was alarming. Now it’s just annoying.

There were vegetarians, and there was everyone else. Now there are: vegans, lacto-ovo pescatarians, gluten and dairy free, pollotarians, meat eaters, etc…and that’s just my family.

It was good to have a rich friend with the Encyclopedia Brittanica. Now…what’s the Encyclopedia Brittanica?

Corporations valued their employees and rewarded them for their loyalty and hard work with a living wage and retirement benefits. Now employees pay union dues to corporate sympathizers who repeatedly dole out pay and benefit cuts, work rule concessions, and dissolve pensions and retiree healthcare.

99% of the worlds wealth was enjoyed by 1% of the population…somethings never change.
