My future life is spent in a dress flowing white
In the distance a child (not mine!) flies a butterfly kite
I frolic barefoot on a quiet sand beach
Copious fruit trees resplendent and well within reach
The sun kisses my cheek, a light breeze tousles my hair
My dog jaunts beside me, we play fetch while we’re there
The wind whispers my name the waves play “Ode to Joy”
There’s a man there named Colin— this place beats Illinois
This vision of my future is hard to believe
It’s a commercial I’ve stepped into, for the douche- Summers Eve
**Disclaimer: Again I find myself dreaming of the utopian world that is synonymous with feminine hygiene products. I apologize for any similarities to previous posts, but these ads from my youth apparently had a lasting and devistating affect on my ideas of true happiness.
