Another Pearl of Wisdom

If only I had all the time in the world
A bounty of commas and apostrophes I would unfurl
Though by my comportment 
You see I am important
Punctuation—not a priority for this seasoned pearl 

Life takes my writing time leaving it minuscule
First my teen spawn are up then off to high school
Cup of coffee in hand
Contemplating each days demands
My to do list—is prodigious as a rule

If not for the devotion and the excessive time
I take to make almost every communique rhyme
My priority is with words
Not Punctuation—scratchings of birds
Perhaps a comma or two would fine
