Yielding flesh

A flame of blush 

Lush and palatable 

Nectarous golden globe 


A bite

Exposed decay

Burnt umber 

Grisly and fibrous 

Desiccant sapless rot

      1. Wish I’d read this before I ate my oatmeal . Oh well, I had fresh papaya and blueberries as well as walnuts with it. Perhaps peaches would have been overkill…and now I can enjoy it later!
