An attempt at redress?
A wish not a guess
From my cliche of a boss… the man
It’d be nice I confess
But he’d never possess
Guilt over wealth… wealth always his plan
Eliminate jobs first
Then even worse
Those who stay will take cuts in pay
Until they’re bled dry
Offer any lie
Then for the man it’s bonus day
A pension freeze-
Retirement? Please!
Instead, we’ll work until we’re long dead
The man needs wealth
So pay more for health
Insurance premiums- that’s what he said
Delusional? Definitely
A CEO feel guilty
For getting rich at labor’s expense
Who’ll intercede
To stop corporate greed
The middle class will never see recompense

DAILY PROMPT
Bad Signal
Someone’s left you a voicemail message, but all you can make out are the last words: “I’m sorry. I should’ve told you months ago. Bye.” Who is it from, and what is this about?
