To Cope

When I become overwhelmed
And tranquility is withheld
I find laughing is good
I don’t stress as I should
Over events born in the bowels of hell

“It is more fitting for a man to laugh at life than to lament over it.”
Seneca

Avoidance- a big key
To happiness for me
With eyes closed I see
Me under a palm tree
My wine glass filled to capacity

“Wine is bottled poetry.”
Robert Louis Stevenson

I like my wine dry and red
But will drink champagne instead
Problems won’t abate
Until after the date
You’ve been buried and are long dead

“There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will.”
Epictetus
