The question seems simple, answer with care
It could leave you a friendship to repair
Truth works for me
Even regarding the shade of my hair
I can improve if information’s at hand.
Yes or no is sufficient, don’t expand.
If the flaw can be fixed
The lies should be nixed
Your honesty is something I must demand.
If I ask you a question, tell me no lies.
Including the usual question of size.
I’ll be honest with you
If you ask me to
You prefer honesty too I surmise
I ask: “Do these jeans make my ass look fat?”
You say “It’s your fat ass that makes your ass look fat.”
That is just being mean
No one’s blaming the jeans
There is no need for the cruelty in that.

Handle With Care
How are you at receiving criticism? Do you prefer that others treat you with kid gloves, or go for brutal honesty?
