Synoptic stories are all I’ve got
Finished before your interest is shot
Precise not superfluous
Concise not continuous
If you want more than I give, that’s a lot
Because-
Long posts to the reader are arduous
Verbosity is so often tortuous
If what I say’s not enough
Why not come back for more stuff
Repeating myself would be gratuitous
Also-
I’ll never say “to make a long story short”
People who say it often speak as sport
They make short stories long
They think silence is wrong
They won’t pause long enough for you to retort
One more thing-
Listening to someone whose repetitive
It’s like they’ve administered you a sedative
If I have to drive
To keep myself alive
I’ll ignore you-your just too meditative.
In conclusion-
Taciturn is good
Are we understood?
That’s all I’ve got
It’s not really a lot
That was my intent
But then I just went
On and on and on
Are you still there?
